Teorema di Rolle

Enunciato

Sia f:[a,b]→Rf:[a,b]\to \mathbb{R} continua in [a,b] e derivabilein (a,b), supponiamo f(a)=f(b)f(a)=f(b), allora: ⇒∃c∈(a,b) ∣ f′(c)=0\\ \Rightarrow \exists c \in (a,b)\ |\ f'(c)=0

Dimostrazione

Caso m≠Mm \neq M

Se m≠Mm \neq M allora:

  • ⇒\Rightarrow Non possono essere gli estremi
  • ⇒∃c∈(a,b) ∣ f(x)=m∨f(c)=M\Rightarrow \exists c \in (a,b)\ |\ f(x)=m \vee f(c) = M
